Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced climber, Redpoint provides spectacular climbing in the heart of Birmingham.
Our centre is dedicated to climbing and nothing else with over 300 routes spanning all grades and our new huge bouldering centre, RedBloc.
With an abundance of shapes and angles, plus our notorious stalactites we offer unique
three-dimensional climbing in a friendly atmosphere.
We offer great lesson packages and gear hire at very reasonable prices to ensure that you have everything you need to get off the ground right here.
Also on site is the legendary Rock On, the best speciality climbing shop in the country, primed to provide the right advice and the latest kit.
We’ve even saved a little space for a Fairtrade cuppa and snacks with a comfy chill out area for resting
those pumped forearms. We make no pointless claims to be the 'biggest', 'tallest' or 'widest' climbing centre, but we are proud to have a reputation for quality climbing, the best selection of routes, the friendliest staff and the best safety record of any wall in the country.

Go Climbing
If you are already a competent climber and belayer, and you don't need instruction, you simply need to register with us in order to climb. There’s pre-registration on this website to save
you a bit of time, you can download the forms from our 'Forms' page on the top menu bar or you can fill in a registration form at reception if you prefer.

Instruction
From the basic skills you need to get you climbing to improved technique and tactics
to break through that next grade, as well as Lead climbing, abseiling, outdoor courses and climbing qualifications.

Children's Climbing and NICAS
Our Rock Monkeys climbing club caters for climbers aged 5 to 16, providing a fun opportunity to learn or improve climbing skills.
Sessions are two hours long and are run on Saturdays at 10.30am and 1.00pm as well as Sundays at 10.30am. Extra sessions are run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.30 during school holidays and
if you have four kids we can even arrange a session of your own at any time.
Group size is kept down to just four kids per instructor and they are actively involved throughout the lesson.

In addition, everyone can have a chance to take part in the new NICAS climbing scheme. NICAS is the first ever Nationally Accredited Indoor Climbing Award Scheme and Redpoint is the Primary Centre

Birthday Parties
For a birthday party that they'll remember for the rest of their lives! Any age from 5 to 105 catered for and any size group from 4 to 80! Our instructors make sure that everyone is involved throughout the session.
A group room is available for post-party food - we are more than happy for you to bring your own or let us help you to arrange catering. Contact reception for more details and to discuss your requirements.
Schools
Mainstream or Special Ed, Redpoint can meet your needs. Whether you would like to use climbing as part of your school's PE curriculum, an after-school club,
a reward trip, or Playscheme. Our staff and management have a wealth of experience in education and special ed.

Gift Vouchers
Redpoint gift vouchers are available to buy at reception or over the phone and can be tailored for whatever you want - climbing instruction or masterclasses, leading lessons, climbing entry passes, Rock Monkeys or family sessions. Rock On have vouchers for climbing gear from the shop too!
Find a Climbing Partner
If you have no-one to climb with we have a database of climbers looking for climbing partners. Give us your contact details and we'll try to hook you up.
