Our shiny new bouldering wall

Our new bouldering wall is now finished, completing the first phase of Redpoint.

Funded by Advantage West Midlands, designed by Entre-prises and the Redpoint team.. this state of the art bouldering wall offers everything from a long flat traverse wall to steep curves and a wall full of subtle angles. In fact, It looks exactly like it did in the computer model!

The installation team from Entreprises completed the wall, Holdz did a fine job of the matting and British Bouldering Team member Dave Barrans helped to set the problems for the launch of the wall when we hosted the final round of the Southern Counties Universities Indoor Bouldering League.

100 competitors took part on the problems spread across both the bouldering walls at the centre and here are some pictures of the comp taken by Mirf.

Come down and try the problems for yourselves, or try some of the new routes that have been going up in the rest of the centre as part of our daily routesetting regime!
