Outdoor Climbing Courses

Features only

Redpoint are more than happy to offer Outdoor Climbing Courses aimed at those who want to make the leap from climbing indoors, to the great outdoors.

Our courses will give you an opportunity to touch real rock, transferring some of the skills you use indoors to the outside environment. No previous experience is necessary although it would be advantageous to have completed an indoor course.

All equipment is included in the cost of the course.

The Roaches

The course will take place over two days at The Roaches in Staffordshire with the option of traveling back each day or overnight camping. B&B is also available in the area.

If you have a group of four or more people we will be more than happy to arrange a course date of your own, simply contact us.

Maud's Garden

The courses will cover:

• Revision of basics including fitting of a harness, tying in and belaying.
• Bottom roping, climbing a variety of routes and grades.
• Top roping (belaying from the top rather that the bottom).
• Movement on natural rock .
• Bouldering on natural rock .
• Seconding a leader removing protection on a pitch.
• Evening theory and gear placement sessions
• Climbing tales around the gas stove.

For more details contact us to discuss your requirements.

We still have one place available on this course, so get in touch quickly if you have not arranged anything for this weekend and fancy getting into climbing outside. Regards. Simon. Pinnacle Challenge.

When I say this course I mean the one coming up this weekend - The 3rd and 4th June. Plenty of space still on the others, but don't leave it long, they are also filling up fast.
